Adult Faith Formation

Adult Faith Formation

Faith Formation is an ongoing responsibility in our Catholic Faith. As adults, we are to commit to a lifelong journey of understanding our faith, proclaiming our faith, and living out our faith. Adult faith formation has become an important part of our parish life.
Our "team" strives to offer a variety of means to help our parishioners through their journey through workshops, retreats, parish missions, dynamic speakers, seminars, programs, small groups, etc.
Any adult parishioners interested in growing in their faith are welcome to join our team and most importantly to attend the events.

Just a reminder if you are looking for some good spiritual programs, books, movies, family entertainment be sure to check out FORMED.  Remember this is a gift from the parish for us all to enjoy, it is like a Catholic Netflix.  You will be surprised all it offers.

Adult Bible Study
Prophets: Messengers of God’s Mercy
If we consider that God is the Divine Bridegroom and the Church is his Bride, then the prophets can be seen as “spiritual marriage counselors.” They afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted, calling us to return to our covenant relationship with God. They urge us to repentance, warn us of the dangers of sin, and announce the blessings of faithfulness. Their prophetic words speak to us even today, as they draw us closer to our heavenly Bridegroom.
St Patrick Church and Our Lady of Fatima Family will begin a ten-week Bible study Prophets: Messengers of God’s Mercy on Sunday, September 8 at 6 PM or Wednesdays, September 11 at 9 AM. Participants will meet every week in the church undercroft to view an engaging video presentation followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship. For more information or to register, visit ascensionpress.com, or questions contact Pat Smith at rsmith3055@aol.com.
